Election Integrity
In the October, 2021 Rasmussen Reports, 56% of the respondents said, "It’s likely" that cheating affected the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, and 41% responded "very likely". To the embarrassment of Georgia, the lack of integrity and security found in the 2020 electoral system has become the Goliath that needs to be slain. Georgia is facing a crisis of confidence in the system and too many Georgians are saying they will not vote going forward unless there is significant change. This broken system needs fixing and Catherine has vowed to fight for change until all concerns are addressed. |
Religious Freedom
There is no question that religious freedom is one of the foundational principles on which this nation was founded. The tenets of religious freedom protect every citizen’s ability to practice and exercise sincerely held religious beliefs. Yet, local, state and federal institutions have felt free to attack the sincerely held beliefs of the many in the name of progress to protect the few, even if doing so violates the rights guaranteed by the constitution and ordained by our Creator. As Governor, Catherine will make sure Georgia protects this fundamental right and ensure the government does not restrict one's religious freedom. |
Medical Freedom
The push to take away individual liberties in increasing, spilling over into medical decisions that were once the purview of the patient and their families. More and more reports are coming in that employers and others are dictating mandates that violate medical standards of care and privacy rights whether there is a direct threat to others or not. Every resident in Georgia has bodily autonomy and should never be compelled or mandated to accept medical treatment by either a governmental institution or private business. Period. |
Life
America is entering the 49th year of legalized abortion. In this time, many abortion providers have become predators stripping away protections for “the least of these”. And, some of these predators target groups based on the color of their skin. Georgia’s Life Act recognizes that infant life in and out of the womb has intrinsic value and protections should be prioritized to ensure those most vulnerable are no longer subjected to the whims of convenience. This includes women and men who find themselves in unexpected circumstances and are preyed upon by abortion providers for profit. As she has done for a significant part of her life, Catherine will continue fighting for life. |
School Choice
For years our schools have been failing parents, teachers and students. Some systems have taken steps to prevent parent participation in decisions that directly impacts their children. Increasingly reports are surfacing that children are being indoctrinated, and subjected to doctrines that encourage division, even within their own families. With proper leadership common sense policies can forestall and even prevent the erosion of learning in Georgia schools. It is time to move Georgia from the 34th rank to the top of the excellence in education scale. |
